About Blackhawk

The United States Pony Clubs, Inc., develops character, leadership, confidence and a sense of community in youth through a program that teaches the care of horses and ponies, riding and mounted sports.

Blackhawk Pony Club (BHPC) is located in Madison, Wisconsin.  Established in 1982, Blackhawk Pony Club is proud to promote the Pony Club values of horsemanship, leadership and sportsmanship.  Youth members of Blackhawk Pony Club are dedicated and passionate about increasing their level of knowledge in Pony Club and many have attained the highest levels of Pony Club certificates and are now instructors and role models for the next generation of Pony Club youth.

USPC Pony Clubs and Riding Centers are assigned to one of 42 geographical regions, which are administered by a volunteer Regional Supervisor (RS) and other appointed and elected officers. Regions offer additional activities and opportunities for members and support for the club and center leaders under their administration. Blackhawk Pony Club is part of the Lake Shore Region.
